7 revelations made by Deepika Padukone and her BFF Anaita Shroff Adajania that’ll BAFFLE you!

Thank God it’s Friday should be rephrased to Thank God it’s Saturday, coz its Saturday Night Tv that has all the juice. A new chat show titled Vogue BFF started airing and it definitely should not be missed. Hosted by popular VJ Kamal Sidhu the show will see a celeb and their BFF talking their hearts about each other. So the first episode featured Deepika Padukone, who came to show with her BFF – famous Bollywood stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. Deepika and Anaita have worked on so many projects together that they have lost count including Tamasha, Bajirao Mastani, Cocktail. They certainly make a team that no one can beat. The style statement is always so on point. Though we would like to add that most stylish on this episode – beating Anaita and Deepika- was the host Kamal. She was at her glamourous best and gave the ladies watching the show style goals. We got to know so much about Deepika on this show and we are so glad. A big thanks goes to her partner in crime, Anaita. There was lot leg pulling happening on the show. Being the BFF she is, Anaita was taking a lot of friendly digs at Deepika, which was really fun to watch.
The show started with the famous Vogue styled video 73 Questions! And we could not stop gushing!
#Deepika revealed that her favourite cheat meal is a big sea salt cookie with loads of ice-cream. Upon the revealing this is treated with a big piece of chocolate cake. And you would think someone as health conscious as Deepika would choose to not eat it, but dayumm she started eating it on air. So cool!

Deepika Padukone is wild, ferocious and menacing in this still from 'xXx 3'

Deepika Padukone is all set to make her big ticket Hollywood debut in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. The film releases next year in January but the post production work has already begun. 
After a series of pictures, trailer, teaser and promos, the director has now given another sneak peek of Deepika's character from the film. Deepika plays Serena, the huntress in the adventure action saga.
The pic uploaded by filmmaker DJ Caruso on Twitter has Dippy aka Serena in a wild avatar. She looks ferocious as she's cornered in one of the scenes from the film.

Here’s Deepika Padukone’s wish that can never be fulfilled

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who has added almost all the feathers to her success-hat, recently revealed the unfulfilled wish she has in her career so far.
Speaking to Filmfare, the 30-year-old actress said, “I wish I had worked with Yashji (Chopra). He was very fond of me and I was of him.”
She also revealed that though the showbiz world is not as smooth as it seems, she has met some genuine people in the industry.
“The industry has been a place where I’ve met some warm and genuine people,” said the actress.
When there’s an interview, questions on her past Ranbir Kapoor and present Ranveer Singh are inevitable. So when the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress was quizzed what would she do if stuck in a lift with the two men, she said, “Dance off between two of them.”
Although she is not sure who will win, as according to her, “they are both superb dancers.”
With Ranbir and Ranveer, the two other names that pop-up are Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
So further during the interview, when Deepika was asked the same, i.e, what would she do if stuck in a lift with the two ladies, she replied, “play house house, cook up an amazing meal and call friends over.”
Now that will, of course, be a scene people would die to watch!

'Working in Hollywood Hasn't Been Easy': Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is currently gearing up for the release of her Hollywood debut xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Dippy was recently quoted saying, “The world is waking up to new talent. Having said that, it is all about whether an actor suits a role or not. An actor should be cast in a movie only if his or her talent brings something unique to the table. I don’t think an actor’s religion, gender, or the region he or she belongs to, should be the reason to sign him or her for a film.”
Dippy further added that working in Hollywood ''hasn’t been easy’’. She said, “Initially, I didn’t feel like I was ready to take up an international project. I was offered films in the past too, but they just didn’t feel right. I have always followed my heart and my instinct.
“It is up to you to say yes or no to a role that doesn’t excite you. The films I was offered earlier didn’t excite me.”

An alert photographer bagged (see what we did there?) this fabulous image of Deepika Padukone at the screening of new film Madaari in Mumbai on Thursday.

Deepika, who starred with Madaari actor Irrfan Khan in last year's Piku, attended the screening with rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh.

The 30-year-old actress looked casual but chic in relaxed pants and matching jacket - perhaps the laidback look extended to her mood, causing her to almost leave without her designer bag.
Luckily, it was handed to her in time.

Deepika Padukone is marrying Ranveer Singh? The actor tells us the truth

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are engaged. Oh wait, Ranveer and Deepika are actually breaking up. No, no you got it all wrong, they are actually getting married next year.
We are so tired about all the buzz on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s current relationship status. But then, we are so interested in knowing the truth too.
So, rather than going by all the buzz and gossip, why not ask the Befikre actor himself? That is what media decided to do when Ranveer Singh returned to India on Thursday (July 14) morning after wrapping up the schedule of Aditya Chopra’s next in France.

Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif – who will romance Salman Khan in 'Tubelight'?

Speculations regarding the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in Kabir Khan's "Tubelight" continue to do the rounds. While some media outlets have said Deepika Padukone, some other have mentioned that Katrina Kaif might star opposite Salman in the film, but nothing has been finalised yet.
Picking a leading lady for the film has put director Kabir in a terrible dilemma. Apparently, Kabir wants to cast Katrina in the film, but Salman is keen on working with Deepika. While Katrina is friends with Kabir, Salman has an upper hand. It is also being said that Deepika has been sending feelers to Salman.

"While Kabir would like to cast his pal Katrina—who incidentally is also Salman's pal—whomKabir has worked with earlier in New York, Ek Tha Tiger and Phantom, Salman has been getting feelers from Deepika .He feels an untried fresh pair at this point in time would make more sense," Subhash K Jha quoted a source as saying.
Another tabloid reported that Deepika has been confirmed for the film and might start shooting for the film in a month or so. "Deepika has indeed been finalised for the role and the makers will head to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the shooting schedule which will begin in a couple of months," a source close to the development informed Mid-Day.
Also, trade experts believe that Salman-Katrina's on-screen chemistry might not work well at the box office, the entertainment portal reported. However, Kabir wants to support Katrina, who has been going through a low phase in her life after her alleged breakup with Ranbir Kapoor and her movies crashing at the box office.
With all the speculations, we can only wait for the makers of "Tubelight" to make an official announcement about the leading actress who will romance Salman.
